Travel Notice for Greece

Strong seismic activity, including earthquakes of up to 5.0 magnitude, has struck Santorini (Thira), Amorgos, Ios, and Anafi in Greece, since 31 January 2025. Singaporeans are advised to avoid travelling to the affected areas to avoid straining the public services there.

 

Singaporeans who are still in the affected areas should remain alert to their surrounding environment, as damaged buildings and infrastructure may pose safety hazards. They should be vigilant, monitor the situation closely, heed the advice of the local authorities and leave for safer areas where necessary. 

 

Singaporeans are also encouraged to eRegister with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs at https://eregister.mfa.gov.sg. Singaporeans should also purchase comprehensive travel insurance and familiarise themselves with the policy’s terms and coverage.
