The Government has appointed Justice (Retd) MPH Rubin, 66, as Singapore's High Commissioner to the Republic of Botswana, Singapore's High Commissioner to the Republic of Namibia and Singapore's Ambassador to the Republic of Zimbabwe. Justice (Retd) Rubin is concurrently Singapore's High Commissioner to the Republic of South Africa. He will be resident in Pretoria. He will present his credentials to President Festus G. Mogae of Botswana on 16 March 2006, President Hifikepunye Pohamba of Namibia on 29 March 2006 and President Robert Gabriel Mugabe of Zimbabwe on 23 March 2006.
