Israeli Education Minister Professor Yuli called on Minister for Foreign Affairs George Yeo today. Professor Tamir expressed interest in Singapore's education system. Both Ministers agreed that there was scope for closer collaboration and sharing of experiences in the field of education between Israel and Singapore. They also discussed regional developments, in particular, the rise of China and India and its impact on the Middle East.
