There is a threat of terrorism throughout the world and in Europe.  Terrorist attacks have occurred in a number of European cities, and there is a potential for other violent incidents.  We advise Singaporeans travelling or living in Iceland to take the necessary precautions and exercise personal responsibility at all times. While the Singapore High Commission in the United Kingdom is accredited to Iceland, Singapore has no physical diplomatic presence in Iceland.

Iceland is part of the Schengen Area and Singaporeans are allowed visa-free entry for short stays up to 90 days in any 180-day period, provided that no employment is sought.  Passports should be valid for at least three months from your planned date of departure from the Schengen Area. As visa requirements often change at short notice, we advise you to contact your travel agency, or nearest Embassy of Iceland for up-to-date information.
