             I learnt with great dismay and sadness of the tragic loss of life in the accident involving the Royal Brunei Air Force in Ulu Belait yesterday.

 

              On behalf of the people of Singapore, I would like to extend my deepest condolences to the family members of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces personnel who died in the line of duty and wish a quick recovery to the injured. 

 

              Our thoughts are with the people of Brunei at this time of sorrow and mourning.

          I was deeply saddened to learn of the tragic helicopter crash in Ulu Belait on Friday.  On behalf of the Government of the Republic of Singapore and all Singaporeans, I extend our deepest condolences to you and the people of Brunei on this unfortunate accident.  Our thoughts are with the victims and their families.
