VISIT OF AUSTRALIAN FOREIGN MINISTER ALEXANDER DOWNER
TO SINGAPORE, 22-24 JULY 2001
The Australian Foreign Minister, Alexander Downer, will make a visit to Singapore from 22 to 24 July 2001. Minister Downer will be accompanied by his wife, Mrs Nicola Downer, and government officials.
During the visit, Minister Downer will make separate calls on Prime Minister Goh Chok Tong, Senior Minister Lee Kuan Yew and Deputy Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong. He will deliver a speech on 23 July on What Australia wishes for ASEAN? at a public talk organised by the Singapore Institute of International Affairs in conjunction with the Australian High Commission.
