The Singapore Government is shocked and outraged by the senseless and tragic loss of innocent lives caused by the deliberate crash of two commercial aircraft into New York's World Trade Centre and a third aircraft into the Pentagon in Washington D.C. We express our deepest condolences to the victims and their families, and to the Government of the United States of America. We join others in condemning these acts of terrorism.
