MFA Press Statement - DPM Lee Hsien Loong's visit to Davos and France

DEPUTY PRIME MINISTER LEE HSIEN LOONG'S VISIT TO
DAVOS (24-25 JANUARY) AND FRANCE (26-29 JANUARY)

Deputy Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong is attending the World Economic Forum's Annual Meeting in Davos, Switzerland, from 24-25 January 2003. This will be followed by a visit to France from 26-29 January 2003.
In Davos, he will deliver a speech on "The Future of Asian Economies" and meet with the CEOs of global companies.

In France, DPM Lee will meet French political and business leaders and the Singaporean community in Paris. He will also visit the Republic of Singapore Air Force training detachment based at Cazaux Air Base.

DPM Lee will be accompanied by Mrs Lee, as well as officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Economic Development Board and the Monetary Authority of Singapore.
