The President of the United States, President George W. Bush, will make an official visit to Singapore from 21 to 22 October 2003 at the invitation of Prime Minister Goh Chok Tong. This will be President Bush's first official visit to Singapore.
President Bush will be accompanied by the First Lady, Mrs Laura Bush, and key US officials including National Security Adviser Condoleezza Rice; Chief of Staff Andrew Card Jr.; Assistant Secretary of State for East Asian and Pacific Affairs James Kelly and National Security Council Senior Director for Asian Affairs James Moriarty.
President Bush will call on President S R Nathan, and meet with Prime Minister Goh and other Cabinet Ministers. Prime Minister Goh will host a dinner for President Bush at the Istana on 21 October 2003.
