MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS PRESS STATEMENT
The following new foreign Heads of Mission presented their diplomatic credentials to President S R Nathan in separate ceremonies at the Istana today:
(a) The High Commissioner of the Republic of India, Mr Alok Prasad, who has succeeded Mr Prabhat Prakash Shukla;
(b) The Ambassador of the Republic of the Philippines, Mrs Belen F Anota, who has succeeded Mr Ernesto V Llamas;
(c) The Apostolic Nuncio of the Holy See, Archbishop Salvatore Pennacchio, who has succeeded Archbishop Adriano Bernardini;
(d) The Ambassador of the State of Kuwait, Mr Mohammad Fadel Khalaf, who has succeeded Mr Jamal Mubarak A M Al-Nesafi;
(e) The Ambassador of the Republic of Benin, Mr Bantole Yaba, who has succeeded Mr Pierre Dossou Ago;
(f) The High Commissioner of Jamaica, Mr Paul Anthony Robotham, who has succeeded Dr Earl Alexander Carr; and
(g) The Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain, Mr Karim Ebrahim Al- Shakar, who is the first Ambassador from the Kingdom of Bahrain to be accredited to Singapore.
