WORKING VISIT OF PRESIDENT NICANOR DUARTE FRUTOS
OF THE REPUBLIC OF PARAGUAY
Mr Nicanor Duarte Frutos, President of the Republic of Paraguay, will visit Singapore from 24 to 26 May 2004 at the invitation of Prime Minister Goh Chok Tong. President Duarte will be accompanied by First Lady Maria Gloria Penayo de Duarte, Minister of Industry and Commerce Ernst Bergen, and other senior government officials.
President Duarte will meet President S R Nathan and Prime Minister Goh. He will visit the Ministry of Trade and Industry, and will be briefed by the Housing Development Board and Urban Redevelopment Authority. President Duarte will also participate in a roundtable seminar organised by the Institute of Southeast Asian Studies.
