The following new foreign Heads of Mission presented their diplomatic credentials to President S R Nathan in separate ceremonies at the Istana today:
(a) The High Commissioner of the Republic of South Africa, Ms Zanele Makina, who has succeeded Mr Stefanus Johannes Schoeman;
(b) The Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco, Mr Abderrahmane Drissi Alami, who has succeeded Mr Omar Hlale; and
(c) The Ambassador of the Republic of the Sudan, Mr Siddig Yousif Abu-Agla, who would be the first Ambassador from the Republic of the Sudan to be accredited to Singapore.
