The King of the Kingdom of Morocco, His Majesty King Mohammed VI, will make a State Visit to Singapore from 29 - 30 April 2005 at the invitation of President SR Nathan. His Majesty will be accompanied by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation Mohamed Benaissa; Minister of Habous and Islamic Affairs Ahmed Toufiq and Minister of Finance and Privatisation Fathallah Oulaalou; members of the Royal Family and senior Moroccan officials.
President SR Nathan will meet His Majesty and host a State Banquet in his honour. Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong will pay a courtesy call on His Majesty.
Prime Minister Lee and His Majesty will witness the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding on the Establishment of the Political Consultation Mechanism and an Agreement on Economic, Technical, Scientific and Cultural Cooperation between the Government of the Kingdom of Morocco and the Government of the Republic of Singapore.
