MFA Press Statement: Singapore's Representation at the 7th ASEM Foreign Ministers' Meeting, 6-7 May 2005

The Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Mr Zainul Abidin Rasheed, will attend the 7th ASEM Foreign Ministers' Meeting scheduled to be held in Kyoto, Japan, from 6 to 7 May 2005.

Established in 1996 to deepen dialogue and broaden the scope of cooperation between the two regions, the Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM) comprises 39 Asian and European members. Mr Zainul will be accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
