The Government of the Republic of Singapore, with the agreement of the Government of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, has appointed Mr George Emile Ibrahim Haddad as Singapore's Honorary Consul-General in Amman, Jordan.
Mr Haddad, 59, obtained his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Maryland, USA in 1970.
Mr Haddad is currently the President and owner of Central Trade & Auto Co., which is the sole distributor for Toyota vehicles in Jordan. Mr Haddad's other business interests include olive production, a travel agency, insurance and general trading.
Mr Haddad is married with four children.
