His Majesty The Yang di-Pertuan Agong XII, Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin Ibni Al-Marhum Tuanku Syed Putra Jamalullail, will visit Singapore from 23 to 25 January 2006 at the invitation of President S R Nathan. His Majesty will be accompanied by Her Majesty The Raja Permaisuri Agong Tuanku Fauziah binti Al-Marhum Tengku Abdul Rashid, members of the Royal family, as well as senior officials from the Istana Negara and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
President S R Nathan and Mrs Nathan will host a State Banquet in honour of His Majesty and Her Majesty. Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong will also call on His Majesty. PM Lee will also host lunch in honour of His Majesty and Her Majesty.
During the visit, His Majesty will tour the SAF's Armour Headquarters at Sungei Gedong, the Malay Heritage Centre, the Biopolis complex, Parliament, as well as the HDB Hub at Toa Payoh. His Majesty will also visit Sentosa and the Night Safari. There will be an Orchid-Naming Ceremony in honour of His Majesty and Her Majesty.
