The First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar, His Excellency Sheikh Hamad Bin Jassim Bin Jabr Al-Thani, will make an official visit to Singapore from 16 to 18 April 2006 at the invitation of Minister for Foreign Affairs George Yeo.
Sheikh Hamad will be accompanied by Minister of Finance and Acting Minister of Economy and Commerce His Excellency Yousif Hussein Kamal, and senior government officials.
During his visit, Sheikh Hamad will call on Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, Minister Mentor Lee Kuan Yew and meet with Minister for Foreign Affairs George Yeo and Minister for Trade and Industry Lim Hng Kiang. Sheikh Hamad will also have meetings with the Government of Singapore Investment Corporation, Port of Singapore Authority and Jurong Corporation.
