MFA Press Statement: Official Visit of the Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs His Excellency Ahmed Aboul Gheit on 17 May 2006

At the invitation of the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Mr George Yeo, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Egypt His Excellency Ahmed Aboul Gheit will make an official visit to Singapore on 17 May 2006.

Minister Aboul Gheit will call on President S R Nathan, Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong and Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong. He will also meet with Minister George Yeo and Minister of State for Trade and Industry Chan Soo Sen. Minister Aboul Gheit will give a lecture at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy and attend a briefing conducted by the Economic Development Board and International Enterprise Singapore.
