A delegation of French Parliamentarians from the France-Singapore Friendship Group led by its President Bernard Depierre met Minister for Foreign Affairs George Yeo this afternoon at the Ministry. The French Parliamentarians are visiting Singapore at the invitation of the Speaker of the Parliament Mr Abdullah Tarmugi.
During the meeting, both sides noted the close relations between Singapore and France and exchanged views on issues of mutual interest in our regions. Minister Yeo also welcomed France's continued interest in the region and its decision to accede to the Treaty of Amity and Cooperation.
