MFA Spokesman's Comments on the decision by the Thai Government to partially lift martial law

In response to media queries on the decision by the Thai Government to partially lift martial law, the MFA Spokesman said:

"Singapore welcomes the Thai Government's decision to partially lift martial law. It is a positive step towards the restoration of constitutional rule in Thailand. As an old friend, Singapore wishes Thailand well."
