OFFICIAL VISIT OF
MINISTER-PRESIDENT OF
THE FREE STATE OF BAVARIA (GERMANY)
DR EDMUND STOIBER
30 - 31 MARCH 2007
Minister-President of Bavaria, Dr Edmund Stoiber, will be in Singapore for an official visit from 30 - 31 March 2007, at the invitation of Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong. Dr Stoiber is accompanied by his wife, Karin Stoiber, officials and a business delegation.
Besides meeting SM Goh, Dr Stoiber will call on Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong and meet with Minister for Foreign Affairs George Yeo and Minister for Trade and Industry Lim Hng Kiang. Dr Stoiber and his business delegation will also visit Bavarian companies during their stay.
Located in the south of Germany and with Munich as its capital, Bavaria is the largest German state and one of the most productive and prosperous. There are approximately 100 Bavarian firms in Singapore.
