MFA Press Statement: Working Visit of President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni of the Republic of Uganda - Meetings with President SR Nathan, PM Lee Hsien Loong, and SM Goh Chok Tong

The President of the Republic of Uganda, HE Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, met with President S R Nathan, Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong and Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong on Saturday 31 March 2007. President Nathan hosted lunch for President Museveni and his delegation. They discussed the upcoming Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM), which will be held in Uganda in November this year as well as exchanged views on key developments in Asia and Africa. The leaders also discussed ways to enhance bilateral cooperation.
