Minister for Foreign Affairs George Yeo met with ROK Trade Minister Kim Hyun-chong on the sidelines of the 6th ministerial meeting of the ACD. They exchanged views on trade liberalisation in the region, and agreed to work closely to strengthen bilateral economic ties.
Minister Yeo and other ministers from the ACD countries paid a courtesy call on ROK President Roh Moo-hyun, followed by dinner at the Blue House.
Minister Yeo also had a bilateral meeting with Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Sheikh Dr Mohammed Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah.
