Deputy Prime Minister Professor S Jayakumar met Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung during his official visit to Vietnam from 16 to 18 August 2007. PM Dung and DPM Jayakumar agreed that beyond economic cooperation, both countries should also cooperate in the legal sector. During the visit, DPM Jayakumar also met with DPM Truong Vinh Trong, as well as Chairman of the Legal Commission of the National Assembly, the President of the People's Supreme Court and officials of the Ministry of Justice.
