MFA Press Statement: Visit to Singapore by the Secretary of the National Planning Council and Director-General of the National Economic Development Board of the Great Socialist People's Libyan Arab Jamahiriya Dr Mahmoud Gebril, 10-12 September 2007

The Secretary of the National Planning Council and the Director-General of the National Economic Development Board of Libya, Dr Mahmoud Gebril, will be visiting Singapore from 10-12 September 2007. Following from the visit by Minister for Foreign Affairs George Yeo to Libya in May this year, Dr Gebril's visit will explore ways to expand bilateral co-operation between Libya and Singapore.

Dr Gebril will call on Minister George Yeo and Minister of State for Trade and Industry Mr Lee Yi Shyan. While in Singapore, Dr Gebril will also have meetings with the Economic Development Board, International Enterprise Singapore, Singapore Cooperation Enterprise, Civil Service College, Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore and Urban Redevelopment Authority.
