Premier Wen Jiabao of the People's Republic of China will make an official visit to Singapore from 18 - 21 November 2007 in conjunction with the 11th ASEAN Plus Three Summit and the Third East Asia Summit. Premier Wen will be accompanied by Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi, Finance Minister Xie Xuren, Construction Minister Wang Guangtao, State Council Policy Research Department Director-General Wei Liqun and Vice Chairman of the National Development and Reform Commission Chen Deming.
During the visit, Premier Wen will meet President S R Nathan, Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong and Minister Mentor Lee Kuan Yew. Prime Minister Lee will also host Premier Wen to an Official Dinner Banquet. Prime Minister Lee and Premier Wen will sign the Eco-City Framework Agreement and officiate at the launch of the Singapore-China Foundation. Premier Wen will deliver a keynote speech at the launch of the Business China Eminent Speakers' Series. The Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCCI) will host a Gala Dinner in honour of Premier Wen together with key local organisations. Premier Wen will also visit Toa Payoh New Town.
