MFA Press Statement: Visit to Uganda by DPM Wong Kan Seng for the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM)

Deputy Prime Minister (DPM) and Minister for Home Affairs Mr Wong Kan Seng will attend the biennial Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) in Kampala, Uganda from 23 to 25 November 2007. DPM Wong will represent Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong who is unable to attend the Kampala CHOGM as Singapore is chairing the 13th ASEAN Summit and its related meetings.

DPM Wong will be accompanied by Senior Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Zainul Abidin Rasheed and officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Home Affairs.
