Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong will attend the High-Level Segment of the United Nations Climate Change Conference in Bali, Indonesia from 11 to 13 December 2007. PM Lee's attendance at the Conference is a demonstration of Singapore's commitment to tackle climate change. PM Lee is scheduled to address the Conference on 12 December 2007 morning.
During the visit, PM Lee will meet the President of the Republic of Indonesia His Excellency Dr Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, the Prime Minister of Australia the Honourable Kevin Rudd and the Prime Minister of Papua New Guinea the Right Honourable Sir Michael Somare. PM Lee will also attend a Leaders' Retreat hosted by the Indonesian President on 13 December 2007.
PM Lee will be accompanied by Minister for the Environment and Water Resources Dr Yaacob Ibrahim and senior officials.
