Senior Minister (SM) Goh Chok Tong, accompanied by Mrs Goh, and Minister Mentor (MM) Lee Kuan Yew will jointly visit Moscow from 3 to 6 June 2008. They will also be accompanied by Minister of State for Trade and Industry Lee Yi Shyan and officials.
While in Moscow, SM and MM are scheduled to meet Russian leaders, top Russian businessmen and young Russian politicians. SM will attend the premiere of "Generation/s", the centrepiece of Spotlight Singapore in Moscow, a cultural-business extravaganza organised by The Arts House of Singapore, supported by the Singapore Embassy in Moscow and IE Singapore.
SM will give the keynote address to the Skolkovo Forum on "Doing Business in Russia" on 4 June 2008. The Forum is organised by the Skolkovo Moscow School of Management (SMSM), a major business school in Russia.
MM will attend the SMSM International Advisory Board (IAB) Meeting on 4 June 2008. The Chairman of the IAB is Russian President, Mr Dmitry Medvedev.
SM and MM will return to Singapore on 7 June 2008.
