MFA Press Statement: Call on Minister for Foreign Affairs George Yeo by ROK National Assembly Member Park Geun-hye, 16 July 2008

Republic of Korea National Assembly Member Park Geun-hye called on and was hosted to dinner by Minister for Foreign Affairs George Yeo this evening. Ms Park is visiting Singapore under the Singapore International Foundation Distinguished Visitors Programme. Minister Yeo and Ms Park discussed how both countries could cooperate to enhance bilateral cultural exchanges, as well as how to deepen interactions between the Republic of Korea and ASEAN. Minister Yeo and Ms Park also expressed hope for the peaceful resolution of the nuclear situation along the Korean Peninsula.
