Minister for Foreign Affairs George Yeo will make an official visit to Paris, France from 18 to 20 January 2009. Minister Yeo and Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the French Republic Bernard Kouchner will sign a government-to-government framework agreement to enhance Singapore-France cultural cooperation on 20 January 2009.
During the visit, Minister Yeo will speak to the local business community at a meeting organised by French business federation MEDEF International. Together with Minister for Culture and Communication Christine Albanel, Minister Yeo will also witness the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between France's Réunion des Musées Nationaux (RMN) and Singapore's National Heritage Board (NHB) on 19 January 2009.
