APPOINTMENT OF SINGAPORE'S
HONORARY CONSUL-GENERAL IN NAGOYA, JAPAN
The Government of the Republic of Singapore, with the agreement of the Government of Japan, has appointed Dr. Hidenari Tanaka as Singapore's Honorary Consul-General in Nagoya, Japan.
Dr. Tanaka, 49, is the CEO and President of Menicon Co. Ltd. He is also the President of Japan Contact Lens Association since 2004. Prior to his current appointment, Dr. Tanaka was the Vice President, Corporate Planning of Menicon Co. Ltd from 1999 to 2000 and Managing Director of Menicon Co. Ltd from 1998 to 1999.
Dr. Tanaka graduated from Aichi Medical University, School of Medicine in 1987.
