MFA Press Statement: Call on Minister for Foreign Affairs George Yeo by Executive Secretary of the UN Convention on Biological Diversity Dr Ahmed Djoghlaf, 20 October 2009

UN Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) Executive Secretary Dr Ahmed Djoghlaf called on Minister for Foreign Affairs George Yeo at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs today. Dr Djoghlaf is visiting Singapore for the ASEAN Conference on Biodiversity 2009. During the call, Dr Djoghlaf and Minister Yeo discussed how the UN CBD and Singapore can continue their cooperation on biodiversity. They also exchanged views on issues concerning global biodiversity conservation.
