MFA Press Statement: Minister for Foreign Affairs George Yeo's Bilateral Meeting with United States Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, 14 November 2009

Minister for Foreign Affairs George Yeo met with United States Secretary of State Hillary Clinton this morning at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Minister Yeo congratulated Secretary Clinton on the US Administration's efforts to engage the region, including the opportunity for leaders from ASEAN and the US to meet at the ASEAN-US Leaders Meeting on 15 November 2009. Minister Yeo and Secretary Clinton also exchanged views on global and regional issues, including APEC and its role in the Asia Pacific region, the G20, ASEAN, and other developments in the region.
