His Majesty King Letsie III, King of the Kingdom of Lesotho will make a State Visit to Singapore from 25 to 27 January 2010 at the invitation of President S R Nathan.
King Letsie III will be accompanied by Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Relations Mohlabi K. Tsekoa, Minister of Education and Training 'Mamphono Khaketla, Minister of Public Service Semano Sekatle, Senator Morena Peete Lesaoana Peete and senior officials.
President Nathan will receive a call by King Letsie III at the Istana and host a State Banquet in his honour. King Letsie III will also have an orchid named in his honour. King Letsie III will visit Singapore Cooperation Enterprise (SCE), Marina Barrage,Singapore Management University and the Singapore Turf Club. A Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in a number of sectors will also be signed between Lesotho Foreign Minister Tsekoa and Mr Alphonsus Chia, Chief Executive of SCE during the delegation's visit to SCE.
