Minister Yeo called on His Serene Highness Hereditary Prince Alois Philipp Maria of Liechtenstein on 30 January 2010. HSH Prince Alois and Minister Yeo had a wide-ranging discussion on relations between Liechtenstein and Singapore and regional developments in Europe and Asia. Minister Yeo also invited HSH Prince Alois to visit Singapore.
While in Liechtenstein, Minister George Yeo also met with Liechtenstein Minister of Foreign Affairs, Justice and Culture Ms Aurelia Frick on 30 January 2010. The two Ministers discussed the Global Governance Group (3G), of which both Singapore and Liechtenstein are members, and how it should support the work of the G20. Both Ministers reaffirmed the good relations between Singapore and Liechtenstein, and agreed to take steps to formalise bilateral relations between the two countries. Minister Yeo also invited Minister Frick to visit Singapore. Minister Yeo was also hosted to dinner by Liechtenstein Ambassador Roland Marxer in the evening of 30 January 2010.
Minister Yeo will depart Liechtenstein for Singapore on 31 January 2010.
