Members of the Indian delegation attending the 3rd India-Singapore Strategic Dialogue (ISSD) in Singapore called separately on Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Defence Teo Chee Hean on 19 February 2010.

The Indian delegation led by Ambassador S. K. Lambah, Special Envoy to the Prime Minister of India, exchanged views with both Singaporean leaders on a wide range of issues, including Singapore-India relations, India's role in the world and the region, as well as the global financial crisis and economic downturn.

The ISSD was inaugurated in 2008 and was announced jointly by Minister for Foreign Affairs George Yeo, and then-India's Minister of External Affairs, His Excellency Pranab Mukherjee in June 2007 during the latter's visit to Singapore. It is an annual Track II forum for participants from both sides to discuss issues of mutual concern and to better understand each other's viewpoints and positions pertaining to global, political, security, economic and regional security issues. The 3rd ISSD was co-chaired by Ambassador-at-Large Tommy Koh and Ambassador S. K. Lambah from 18-19 February 2010. Minister George Yeo also hosted a dinner for the ISSD participants on 18 February 2010.
