MFA Press Statement: Call on Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong by the Director-General of the United Nations Educational, Scientific And Cultural Organisation, Mrs Irina Bokova, Friday, 30 April 2010

Mrs Irina Bokova, Director-General of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO), called on Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong at the Istana today. During the call, Mrs Bokova gave Prime Minister Lee an overview of UNESCO's work and its areas of focus. They discussed possible areas of cooperation between Singapore and UNESCO, and exchanged views on education, climate change and heritage protection.
