Senior Minister of State (SMS) for Foreign Affairs Zainul Abidin Rasheed will make an official visit to the Republic of Uzbekistan from 19 - 23 April 2010 at the invitation of Uzbek Deputy Foreign Minister Anvar Salikhbaev. In Uzbekistan, SMS Zainul is scheduled to meet Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Economic Relations, Investments and Trade Elyor Ganiev and First Deputy Foreign Minister Abdulaziz Kamilov. SMS Zainul will also visit the historic cities of Bukhara and Samarkand and is scheduled to meet the Khokims (Governors) there. SMS Zainul will be accompanied by Singapore's Ambassador to Uzbekistan Mr Sim Cheok Lim and officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
