Minister for Foreign Affairs George Yeo called on Saudi Foreign Minister His Royal Highness (HRH) Prince Saud Al-Faisal bin Abulaziz Al Saud in the morning of 4 May 2010. They had an extensive discussion on regional and global issues, including developments in the Middle East and Asia. Both Ministers reaffirmed the good relations between Saudi Arabia and Singapore, and discussed ways to further cooperation between the two countries.
Minister Yeo also called on Governor of Riyadh HRH Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud in Riyadh on 4 May 2010.
On 5 May 2010, Minister Yeo will travel to Jeddah to visit the King Abdullah University for Science and Technology (KAUST) in Jeddah. He will make a tour of the university, receive a briefing from faculty heads and meet with members of the KAUST Singapore Club.
