Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong had a bilateral meeting with Vietnam Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung today on the sidelines of the 17th ASEAN and Related Summits in Hanoi.
During the meeting, the leaders reaffirmed the close bilateral ties between the two countries. The two leaders also had a good exchange of views on regional security and developments in ASEAN. PM Lee congratulated PM Dung on Vietnam's successful ASEAN chairmanship.
Following the meeting, the two Prime Ministers jointly witnessed the signing of four commercial agreements involving Singaporean investments in Vietnam which underscore the strong economic relations between the two countries.
