The Chairman of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) Commission for External Relations Hoang Binh Quan will visit Singapore from 1 to 4 November 2010, at the invitation of Minister for Foreign Affairs George Yeo. During the visit, Chairman Quan and Minister Yeo will jointly witness the signing of an agreement between the two Foreign Ministries to facilitate a study visit programme for CPV officials to learn from Singapore's developmental experiences.
Apart from meeting Minister Yeo, Chairman Quan will call on Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister Teo Chee Hean, and be hosted to lunch by GPC (Defence and Foreign Affairs) Chairman Michael Palmer. He will also visit the Civil Service College, the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy and the Institute of Southeast Asian Studies.
