MFA Press Statement: ASEAN Foreign Ministers' Retreat in Lombok, Indonesia, 15 to 17 January 2011

Minister for Foreign Affairs George Yeo will attend the ASEAN Foreign Ministers' Retreat in Lombok, Indonesia from 15 to 17 January 2011. The Ministers will discuss developments in the regional architecture, including the admission of the United States and Russia into the East Asia Summit (EAS). Indonesia will also convene the ASEAN Coordinating Council for the Ministers to discuss the implementation of the Master Plan on ASEAN Connectivity, including the establishment of the ASEAN Connectivity Coordinating Committee to facilitate and expedite the implementation of the prioritised projects under the Master Plan.
