The President of the Republic of Honduras His Excellency Porfirio Lobo Sosa will make a working visit to Singapore from 23 to 25 February 2011. This is the first visit by a Honduran Head of State to Singapore.
During the visit, President Lobo will call on, and be hosted to lunch by President S R Nathan. President Lobo will be attending meetings organised by the Centre for Liveable Cities, Singapore Cooperation Enterprise, and the Economic Development Board, where he will be briefed on our development model and experiences on sustainable urban development. President Lobo will also visit the Marina Barrage and the Urban Redevelopment Authority's Singapore City Gallery.
President Lobo will be accompanied by the President of the National Congress Mr Juan Orlando Hernández Alvarado, Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr Mario Miguel Canahuati, Minister of Communications, Public Works and Transport Mr Miguel Rodrigo Pastor, other senior government representatives and officials, and a business delegation.
