In response to media queries on the recent visits by Indonesian Foreign Minister Marty Natalegawa to Bangkok and Phnom Penh, the MFA spokesman said:
"We are encouraged by the Indonesian Foreign Minister Marty Natalegawa's visits to Bangkok and Phnom Penh to facilitate bilateral negotiations between Thailand and Cambodia. We support the ASEAN Chair's continued engagement to help bring about a peaceful resolution to the border dispute.
We continue to urge all relevant parties to act with restraint and bear in mind the interest and reputation of ASEAN."
