MFA Press Statement: Call on Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong by the Vice-Premier of Turkmenistan His Excellency Baymurat Hojamuhammedov

Turkmenistan Vice-Premier Baymurat Hojamuhammedov called on Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong at the Istana this afternoon. Vice-Premier Hojamuhammedov is visiting Singapore to attend the inaugural Turkmenistan Oil and Gas Road Show from 3 - 4 March 2011.

During the meeting, Senior Minister Goh and Vice-Premier Hojamuhammedov exchanged views on economic developments in their respective countries and other subjects of mutual interest. Yesterday, Vice-Premier Hojamuhammedov was hosted to lunch by Minister for Foreign Affairs George Yeo.
