Senior Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Zainul Abidin Rasheed attended the Fourth Bali Regional Ministerial Conference on People Smuggling, Trafficking in Persons and related Transnational Crime that was held in Bali, Indonesia from 29 to 30 March 2011.
During the Conference, SMS Zainul delivered a statement expressing Singapore's support for the Bali Process and its active participation in Bali Process activities. One of Singapore's most recent involvements was the hosting of a Workshop on Immigration Aspects of Seaport Security in mid-June 2010 in Singapore. 45 government officials from 19 Bali Process member countries participated in the Workshop which focused on capacity building and information sharing.
