The President of Ukraine His Excellency Viktor Yanukovych will make a State Visit to Singapore from 27 to 29 March 2011, at the invitation of President S R Nathan. This will be the first State Visit from Ukraine that Singapore will host.
President Yanukovych will be accompanied by an official delegation comprising Minister for Foreign Affairs Kostyantyn Gryshchenko, Minister of Culture and Tourism Mykhailo Kulyniak, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Ukraine Anatoliy Kinakh, Head of the State Agency for Investments and National Projects Management of Ukraine Vladyslav Kas'kiv, and senior officials of the Administration of the President of Ukraine. Also accompanying President Yanukovych will be delegations comprising representatives of Ukrainian businesses and media.
On 28 March 2011, President Yanukovych will be officially welcomed by President Nathan at a ceremony at the Istana. Following the ceremony, President Yanukovych will call on President Nathan, meet with Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, and be hosted to lunch by Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong. President Nathan will also host a State Banquet in honour of President Yanukovych that evening.
During his stay in Singapore, President Yanukovych will also address the Singapore-Ukraine Business Forum, and visit HDB Hub and Singapore Power Ayer Rajah Control Centre.
