Minister for Foreign Affairs George Yeo received a call by Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Principality of Liechtenstein Dr Aurelia Frick at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs this morning. Dr Frick is in Singapore for an official visit from 20 to 21 April 2011 at the invitation of Minister Yeo. She is also concurrently Minister of Justice and Minister of Cultural Affairs of Liechtenstein.
During the call on Minister Yeo, the two Foreign Ministers reaffirmed the excellent relations between Singapore and Liechtenstein at the bilateral and international level and exchanged views on international developments. As Liechtenstein is a member of the Global Governance Group (3G), which is a grouping of 28 small and medium UN member states, the two Ministers also discussed issues of common interest in global governance.
Dr Frick will also be meeting Minister for Information, Communications and the Arts Lui Tuck Yew and Senior Minister of State for Law and Home Affairs Associate Professor Ho Peng Kee, and will visit the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, the National Museum of Singapore and the Supreme Court.
