MFA Press Statement: Special Informal ASEAN Foreign Ministers' Meeting, 10-11 April 2011, Bangkok

Minister for Foreign Affairs George Yeo will attend a Special Informal ASEAN Foreign Ministers' Meeting in Bangkok, Thailand, from 10 to 11 April 2011.

The meeting will discuss preparations for the 6th East Asia Summit (EAS), which will be the first involving new EAS members the United States of America and the Russian Federation, as well as the future direction of the EAS. The
Foreign Ministers will also discuss other recent regional and international developments.
